Edocti Policies

Environmental Policy

Edocti recognizes that even a digital-first business has an environmental footprint. We are committed to integrating practical, responsible environmental thinking into the way we operate, deliver services, work with partners and make day-to-day decisions.

Our approach focuses on continual improvement: reducing avoidable waste, using resources responsibly, improving efficiency where it makes sense, and encouraging environmentally aware behaviour across our team and business relationships.

Our environmental commitments

This policy applies to Edocti’s operations, service delivery and internal ways of working. The scale of our actions is aligned with the size and nature of our business, but the direction is clear: we aim to make environmentally better choices whenever they are practical, proportionate and consistent with quality, security and business continuity.

Continual improvement and accountability

We treat environmental performance as an area that should improve over time, not as a one-time exercise.

  • set practical priorities and review them periodically;
  • consider environmental impact in operational decisions where relevant;
  • encourage management attention on actions that bring measurable benefit.

Energy, emissions and business travel

We aim to reduce unnecessary energy use and limit avoidable emissions associated with our activities.

  • prefer efficient equipment, hosting and digital tools where feasible;
  • encourage remote collaboration when it is a suitable alternative to travel;
  • plan travel responsibly and avoid trips that do not create clear value.

Digital-first delivery and resource efficiency

As a technology and training business, we can reduce environmental impact by choosing low-waste ways of working.

  • prioritize digital workflows, online collaboration and electronic records;
  • limit unnecessary printing, paper use and disposable materials;
  • use infrastructure and tools efficiently to avoid waste of time, hardware and energy.

People and environmental awareness

Meaningful progress depends on day-to-day behaviour, not only on formal statements.

  • encourage awareness of simple actions that reduce waste and energy consumption;
  • promote responsible choices in office use, travel, purchasing and equipment handling;
  • support a culture in which improvement ideas can be raised and adopted.

Responsible procurement and supplier engagement

Where practical, we take environmental considerations into account when selecting goods, services and partners.

  • favor solutions that are durable, efficient and proportionate to real needs;
  • work with suppliers who demonstrate responsible business practices where relevant;
  • avoid unnecessary purchases and encourage longer useful life for equipment.

Waste, reuse, recycling and compliance

We seek to minimize waste and handle materials responsibly, especially electronic equipment and consumables.

  • reuse, repair or redeploy assets when appropriate before replacement;
  • recycle e-waste, paper, packaging and other materials through appropriate channels where available;
  • comply with applicable environmental laws, regulations and other relevant obligations.

Review and implementation

Edocti will review this policy periodically to keep it aligned with the evolution of our services, operating model, legal requirements and practical opportunities for improvement. We aim to focus on actions that are realistic, measurable and relevant to our business rather than on generic commitments that do not reflect how we actually work.

In practice, this means:

  • monitoring priorities and updating them when needed;
  • embedding environmental thinking into everyday operational decisions;
  • encouraging responsible behaviour across our team and partners;
  • supporting long-term efficiency, resilience and responsible growth.
